President's Message
Greetings and welcome to the virtual home of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®- Alpha Alpha Xi Omega Chapter, where we are Blooming in Sisterhood and Rooted in Service!
Alpha Alpha Xi Omega Chapter was charted on March 7, 2020, eight days before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. With 47 Charter members and nine initial chapter members, Alpha Alpha Xi Omega remained committed to the Alpha Kappa Alpha mission of “Service to All Mankind.” We have grown to more than 75 active members and continue to serve the greater San Antonio area.
Alpha Alpha Xi Omega Chapter is an AWARD-WINNING CHAPTER, holding Small Chapter of the Year awards, countless program awards, and chapter member individual awards for service within the community and dedication to the sorority.
Our chapter is committed to making a positive impact on social change. It will continue to provide service to our community under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, under the platform Soaring to Greater Heights of Sisterhood & Service. Alpha Alpha Xi Omega will offer service under the five 2022-2026 international program initiatives:
Empower Our Families
Build Our Economic Wealth
Enhance Our Environment
Advocate for Social Justice
Uplift Our Local Community
These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our sorority’s credo of service.
An invitation is extended to all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® in San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Bandera, Helotes, New Braunfels, Castroville, and other surrounding areas to visit Alpha Alpha Xi Omega. Our chapter is unique due to our military members and their families, so we love our members while we have them and keep in touch across the globe. Whether you are an inactive member of our sorority or a general member looking to reconnect to a chapter, you are always welcome to join us at our chapter meeting every second Saturday of each month.
We also invite our community to participate in our open events and activities.

Thank you for visiting our chapter’s website! You are cordially invited to visit our social media pages, “Alpha Alpha Xi Omega (AAXOAKA)” on Facebook and “alphaalphaxiomega” on Instagram, for our service projects and other activities.
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming community events.
Kind regards,
Natania “Tiny” Mathis, LCSW-S
